neobux clicks
[hl]Introduction[/hl]

I've dedicated a lot of my "free" day time (like just before go to my 2-6 hours of daily sleep) thinking and re-thinking about options for the activity measuring, correlated with TOS 3.7, to become more fair to everyone and bring the best results possible, at least in my theoretical opinion.

I've started writing this post several times, with tons of paper going to recycle because of write / re-write of all the stuff...

This week a topic was brought to my attention... One more topic about not so good averages, that make me try to finish this concept, to be able to post it on the forums having great contribution for hopefully some good "end-work".
Also some weeks ago I'v presented some cousin idea from this one to our Admin, but I think this version is a bit better, and more well thought.

[hl]"The Good, The Bad and the Ugly[/hl]

Like we have TOS 3.7 we're sometimes hurting some really good clickers earnings, especially with the rule of one account per computer, and most of the time beneficing those "smart" selfish guys... Lets see...

...the good
Lets imagine a guy that clicks every single day for weeks and weeks... Really high average, but then (s)he is a really busy person.

So there is one day (s)he got at the office to do some quick maintenance and that maintenance goes on and on for 12 hours.Good by next day's earnings. And this happens from time to time, has even happened to me one day that for some reason I forgot to leave team viewer on at my home computer before exiting (really handful for those bad work days), and bang, 0 clicks that day. I even have viewed all the ads from both days when I got home, but even there as TOS 3.7 is today no next days earnings...

...the bad
Oh on the other hand the main reason for low averages in my opinion. Great community at the foruns, but either some black sheep here, and most of the "outside users" only thinking about their own "small world".

In other words:
Mr. Smart Guy: I only have an 1.x average so I'll click every single day in only 2 ads since its enough to receive all from my referrals, and most off all I only use 60 seconds for my (most of the times) non-busy day...

...and the ugly
Looking at this two fellows there is no doubt that the guy from case A, deserve well to be rewarded for his strong activity and the B guy, should have some lesson about community spirit, and "be the change you want to see in world..."

Isn't really that fair to be judge in a 24 hours period, and neither to be as rewarded for minimum activity as to full normal member activity...

[hl]Outside working week... 5 out of 7...[/hl]

Well, lets look beyond Neo's great kingdom...
Most of the day jobs run in a 5 days active to 2 days rest basis, correct? In those 5 days you have to be 100% active if you have a smart boss, or are your own boss while caring about your future :P...

So each week we can say you are 71.4% active...
Now since this is internet, and everyone have to have time to attend the forums and so on, lets think about 70% for a start...

70% activity, a bit less than 5 out of 7 days (two really bad days at the office per week).

[hl]Frantic, tic, toc every week.[/hl]

So in my opinion the activity evaluation should be done per week, and you shall take the results of all those seeds next week...

So, at the end of each user's week (could be different different for each user like the ads reset time for not overload the server)you % of activity would be calculated..

If you are above 70% activity from total available clicks for your membership at that passed week you would receive 100% from your referrals next week...
If you have less than 70% activity, the next 7 days you will only receive an equal % from total refs clicks, as you last week % activity...

To receive all from his referrals an ultimate would have to view 11 ads per day in average, an golden 7, and a standard 3...

[hl]Where those values come from?[/hl]
Well, lets think for example an ultimate.

(s)he would have 15 ads per day available, during 7 days, with totals 105 ads during one week. If we multiply 105 by 0.7 and round up we get 74 ads, witch divided by 7 days and rounded up will get us to 11 ads per day to receive 100% each week...

This would be valid for every membership, and would also count with extra ads that the member could get to the total calc.

If one day an ultimate could get 30 ads, he could be "inactive" for 3 days getting the same 70% activity.

[hl]Algorithm-itize-it![/hl]

The main question here is that the 70% referrals credit can be based in several things, and about this point I cannot think alone...

1we can take the last week daily click referrals average and calculate it while calculating the users activity.

2we can calculate the % of clicks per day using last day's average, being this way calculated everysingle day.

3- My personal favorite More fund but harder to implement, is to at the end of each day calculate the % do deduct from click of that day and deduct it from users balance. Even if it has been already spent/ cashed out it will be covered by the next day's balance being this way more like a "fee" that in my opinion should be taking the "punishment" for lack of activity.
Another graph showing how much has been deducted would make the lazy girl/boy think twice...

And even greater if that fund from the deductions will be be kept all together to sponsor active member's rewards like those talked in the active membership from our fellow Denfel.

[hl]May I "sin" once?[/hl]

I think no one is perfect, and like have been said several times people have some harder working times, and other stuff to do in some specific week, that could make them go to the bad group... And for those without vacation days this could be unfair also...
I was also thinking in some "over the top activity reward points". If a member have been active (fully active as been 90-100% of all available ads) for one entire month, (s)he will get a point that will keep him clear for one "bad" week...

This points would be saved until a max of 12 (being this a full year) and that would be an extra incentive to go from 70% to 90% activity, and they could expire also being converted for some small "renewing discount 1-5%".

[hl]Reward/punishment isn't everything... What about good looking?[/hl]

This good looking expression could seem really strange, but everyone of you surelly gives some importance to "how your nickname sounds to others", after all internet interaction is an extension of your everyday life and as in your life you want to be as good as possible, as well having some recognition.

Simple 10 bars each one representing 10% of activity under all fellows at forums, being this % activity calculated only once in a month and rounded up, would make a lot of us enter in like an honor quest to have all the bars full. And I'm talking starting from the 10 years old WoW player that is addicted in everything that can show experience/status, and ending up in the middle age woman/man that just like the pretty colors next to the nickname, and also is proud of being a solid worker...

[hl]Is it the end of it?[/hl]

Of course this idea is in no way a final suggestion, if it where I would have send it directly to support.

I really think that together we can really improve the concept beyond all this, and with some admin's input in the mater of implementability"and viability we can get to some really nice "hour consuming" idea :)

I won't apologize for the post is way long, but I would like to congratulate everyone that got to the end of it and is whiling to give some creative thinking on this :)

Best Regards,

neikeni -national IDS ?

When Nandan Nilekani was invited to take up a government assignment, there was considerable scepticism in many quarters, and justifiably so. Our government has what is known as the "reverse-Midas touch", the ability to convert gold into lead.

Think of so many government initiatives in the history of free India. Do you remember the Community Development Project of the fifties? After five decades and the appointment of thousands of BDOs (block development officers), how many parts of rural India have indeed "developed" (whatever that may mean)?

Do you remember Garibi Hatao, the magic slogan some forty years ago? At last count India had the maximum number of "garibs" in the world. So will the same fate await the Unique ID Project good intentions, tall talk and abysmal delivery leading to cynicism all around? This is a legitimate fear and our track record as a country does not lead to much optimism.

And yet, the other day as a couple of dozen of us came away from a meeting with Nandan's team, we were looking at each other, nodding our heads and saying with a mixture of awe, admiration, hope and tautened expectation something along the following lines: "Their plans are intriguing modest at one level and therefore eminently do-able, simply breathtaking in its audacity at another level and therefore absolutely desirable from the country's point of view."

The new Agency is not planning to issue a card as most of us have been thinking. In one utterly brilliant stroke, they have redefined the purpose and the outcome of their endeavour. Each Indian resident is going to be eligible for a single Unique ID Number, not a card. This means that others who issue cards, be it in the state sector (the Election Commission, the passport office, the NREGA authority, the Income Tax Department, etc) or in the private sector (banks, cell phone operators, etc) have nothing to fear and therefore no incentive to resist or sabotage the new approach.

On the contrary, they are free (as and when they choose no compulsion) to leverage the fact that there will be a unique number associated with a unique individual a symmetric relationship which cannot be violated or subverted as it will be based on non-replicable biometrics. Leveraging this facility can only help various card-issuers and if they choose not to make use of the unique IDs they are no worse off than they are today.

The fear many of us had that players, both in the public and private sectors, who have agendas of their own (including the need to protect their turf) will have a vested interest in willing this new effort to fail has thus been subtly eliminated. The ID programme is a neutral, non-threatening one. You can use it if you want to and over time you may benefit from using it, but it in no way impinges on the initiatives and territories of other players.

Also, from the perspective of Indian residents (note the emphasis on residents the determination of citizenship is left to existing authorities like the passport officer) the entire programme is positioned as a voluntary one. There is no totalitarian Mussolini forcing you to get an ID number. This should make civil libertarians feel good. Just like people who have Internet access voluntarily get themselves e-mail addresses, most residents of India will want to get themselves a national ID number.

And this will be true of the rich who need driver's licences, passports and bank accounts as well as the poor who need ration cards and NREGA payments. The key feature of the system as conceived is that once a critical mass is built, the installed base will grow by popular demand, not by fiat. Theoretically a hermit in a cave need not apply for an ID number and that is as it should be. As a committed libertarian, this aspect of the programme appeals to me. It is as though we have a supportive state, not an intrusive big brother.

The technological architecture involved (both hardware and software, but primarily software) in pulling off this task is by no means going to be simple. This is especially true for the initial enlistment process. In order to ensure the integrity of the process, every time a new person applies for it, the system would need to run a negative check across hundreds of millions of existing IDs (and eventually across 1.2 billion IDs) and this would need to be done on a near-real-time basis.

No one anywhere in the world has attempted anything on this scale. Those who are not sensitive to the technical implications should just trust this writer. Trust me, this is a stupendous task. To some extent this could end up resembling the US mission to the moon. That effort led to technical spin-offs and advances in so many related fields. I have a hunch that we might face a similar situation and a similar set of opportunities. The ID project may actually end up making an IT superpower out of us in a very real sense not just with marketing hype, which has been in part our story so far.

And this will be both in hardware (India may end up becoming the biggest and most advanced user of biometric readers) as well as in software (we will be the first to figure out how to capture, store and retrieve all in near-real-time scenarios a few billion photographs and tens of billions of biometric data elements).

For someone who went into the meeting as a sceptic, I came out with a profound if cautious sense of optimism. This national project has a greater than 50 per cent chance of success and it is in all our interests to support it to make sure that that probability goes up. The practicality of the approach and the calmness with which we are approaching the stupendous technical challenges would indicate that in the months to come the probability of success will keep going up.
