CPA Affiliate Marketing Coaching

CPA Affiliate Marketing Coaching
HomeAbout MeBuilt With WordPressContact Me.1. Lesson One
My purpose in setting this coaching site up is to give people a simple method of making money online to start with- that’s making money with CPA email submit.

CPA email submit.

You need to signed up as an affiliate in a CPA network to make money with email submit. You can find tons of CPA networks online.

I recommend Azoogle, Affiliate.com, Hydra Media, Flux ads, Neverblues, XY7.

They’ve tons of email-submit offers.

They’ll call you for verification after you send in your application. If you sound like you don’t know what you’re doing, they may reject your application.

(In lesson 3, I’ll gives you some tips on how to get approved. To save bandwidth, I’m not going to spend time explaining the details of those tips here.)

Email submits means that when a person enters their email address into the offer page, you get paid anywhere from $0.50 to $1.50 depending on the offer. They’re very easy to convert, since very little is required of the user.

Sometimes, you need to think outside of the box to make money with CPA offers.

Let me show you a creative method on how to get tons of people to enter their email address through your affiliate link so that you get paid.

I use this simple method to make $100 a day with CPA email submits: running polls online.

Running polls online
This technique is not new, and I didn’t invent it either. It’s been used for years, but it has proven itself to work just fine. Just like any other thing in life, I’ve more success with this method than the others because I take extra efforts in maximizing every detail and work hard on it.

This method alone is making me $100 almost every day. Some days I am even generating over $200 from this simple method. Now let’s get started:

Step 1- Getting Poll Ideas

I go direct to Yahoo Buzz Index

Yahoo Buzz Index shows the top overall searches in Yahoo every day. The data is collected from Yahoo Search log files.

This is what I’ll do…..

My strategy is: Always look for a popular event, be it sport tournament, political scandal, NBA finals etc….I prefer events that last for a few weeks so my polls will have a longer life span.

But the sneaky part is, I don’t run polls on event itself. I run polls on people involves in the event.

Example:
I don’t run polls like:

Do You Like This Year’s NBA Finals?

I run:

MVP 2009: Make Your Case, Lebron or Kobe.

People only vote when they’re emotionally connected to your poll. People don’t care about the sport event; they are only interested in their sport stars. As simple as that.

Get the idea now?

Always on people (idol, political icon, sport stars, celebrity host, etc….) People, people, people, remember that and you’ll make money running polls online.

Step 2- Signed up as an affiliate in a few CPA networks.
Picked up email submit offer to promote.

Step 3- Run ad in Google AdWords.
I ran my ad in Google “content network” to get dirt cheap clicks; meaning, my ads will only appear in those websites with AdSense on them.

I started with $0.20 to attract traffic, then slowly bid down to around $0.10- $0.07 over 48 hours. For certain niche, I get tons of traffic even at $0.07 per click.

Step 4- Build a Landing Page.
Get a domain, host my landing pages. Send traffic from Google ads to the landing page.

When visitors land on my page, take my survey, I thank them for their opinion and then offer a free gift as a thank you for participating in the survey.

I send them to the offer page, they enter their email, and I get paid $1.50. Since my cost is only $0.07, I made a lot of money with this simple method.

Step 5- Keywords Selection
As Google Content Network is theme triggered, NOT keyword triggered, I don’t care much on keyword. Just open up KeywordElite and use whatever spit out by the software.

This technique works very well short-term because it relies on recent news events.

Most people fail in polls only for 3 reasons.

1.Either they don’t have the right tools (I’ve a few scripts to automate stuff)
2.or they don’t have the right knowledge
3.or they’re not working hard enough.
On the next lesson, I’m going to show you a couple of screen captures so that you get to see my landing page and email submit offers

This is pretty much the gist of it. Have questions? Post here and I’ll try my best to explain.

You can subscribe to our discussion on this page by checking the box next to “Notify me of followup comments via e-mail” right below the comment box.

Steven,

Thanks for putting your knowledge and experience out for free. That’s not very often done, and I appreciate it very much.

Great lesson and not something I would have put together - polls and making money in CPA networks. I’m looking forward to going through the rest of the lessons.

Thanks Steven…you are a Prince for doing this.

Cheers,

Steven 03.16.09 at 8:51 am

Guys, welcome aboard!

Take some time to study everything, ask me any questions, I’ll try my best to help.

.
Marko Manninen 03.16.09 at 9:24 am

Wow, i have never thought of using polls such a way. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and allowing us inside. As they use to say, knowledge is sometimes priceless, but showing how to use it, like you do, thats just superb.

.
Marko Manninen 03.16.09 at 10:06 am

So my first question is, why ShareASale and Commission Junction are not mentioned on Affiliate Networks? They have couple of hundreds of Pay Per Lead merchants. Is it all about the method of giving a bonus / coupon / sweeptakes when answering the poll? Having a lucratice offer if replied?

.
Ellen 03.16.09 at 10:30 am

Thank you so much Steven for sharing your knowledge. You have opened my eyes to CPA, I have no idea it can be so powerful. Looking forward to learn all the gist of how it works.

Cindy Carraway 03.16.09 at 12:21 pm

Steven,

Very glad to be part of this. I work full time job (that I hate and want to quit) and worried I will fall behind since I am away all day from 10 - 14 hours a day. Will I be at a disadvantage? I want to be success with this, any advice?

Thank you,
Cindy

.
steve 03.16.09 at 12:27 pm

Steve,

Thanks for sharing this, what I always wondered after this stratgy is what happens after the poll? so they click the poll are brought to the offer submit their zip or email and then what?

There is no poll to see the results or to even vote themselves, or am I missing something?

.
Steven 03.16.09 at 1:31 pm

Marko Manninen:
We want to use email submit offers from CPA network because they’re one-field pay per lead offer. When a person enters their email address into the offer page, we get paid. They’re very easy to convert, since very little is required of the user. If you’re using other pay per lead offers that require more information, it’s hard to convert with poll method.

Cindy Carraway:
This method requires a few hours a day when you’re starting out. When you starts, you’ve no idea of what works, and what doesn’t, so you might need to roll out more polls to test. Once you’ve a few winners, you’ll be able to narrow down to expand from there. Most people started out “part time”, as long as you’ve a few hours per day, you should be good.

Steve:
We don’t need to show any “poll results”. Just send them direct to merchant. Once they enter their email address, we get paid. Read all content on this site multiple times, let me know if you still don’t get it. I’ll help.

.
bill 03.16.09 at 2:24 pm

that is a cool method, problem i have is how do i actually create a poll? and how do i set it up so that once the poll is done the person gets taken to an offer? thanks

ps thanks for the coaching

.
Yusuf 03.16.09 at 2:56 pm

Thanks, this is great!

So do you only run the ads on the Google Content Network and not the Search?

.
Steven 03.16.09 at 4:17 pm

Bill:
You can either build your poll landing page with HTML editor like Dreamweaver or use script to do it.

I use a script to build my poll page. I just throw in a seed keyword and the script will automate things for me. That’s basically a bunch of rss feeds “content” on my landing page related to my poll. I get articles, youtube videos, news etc….all related to my seed keyword.

This little script make my site looks like a “content” + “poll” site so that my landing page doesn’t look like a scam to the punters.

Say I’m running a poll on Obama. I’ll use “Obama”, “Barrack Obama”, “President Omaba” as my seed keywords. Throw those to my script, it will create a poll page plus “content” for me. This script is part of my entire arsenal. Find all my arsenal in Lesson Six.

.
Steven 03.16.09 at 4:23 pm

Yusuf:
Yes, I only run ads in Google Content Network.

.
Jodi 03.16.09 at 4:49 pm

Hi Steven,

First of all, thanks for all this valuable info and the chance to view.. The Poll Book for $9 you are offering - is that included in the Bonus for joining PPC Coach?

Secondly: The Content Network - Do you turn off search and just input phrases related to your poll as you would for a search campaign? How can you tell what the average cost per click is for Content?

Thx - Jodi

.
Steven 03.16.09 at 5:08 pm

Jodi:
No, my $9 report is not included in the Bonus for joining PPC Coach.

As I use 1000-2000 keywords for each campaign, I use Adwords Editor to upload everything to Adwords. I choose Content Network in Editor.

You get to see CPC in Adwords stats. Yes, even for Content Network, you get to see CPC.

.
Jodi 03.16.09 at 5:16 pm

Thanks for your prompt reply..

Just joined PPC Coach thru your link, so look forward to my bonuses.

Is it worth me buying the $9 report as well. I just wondered if I would find similar info in the other reports.. If its going to help me to get off to a quick start, then I will get it,

Regards,

Jodi

.
Steven 03.16.09 at 5:41 pm

Jodi:
I’ve sent you my bonus. By now, you should receive them.

Though there is some similar content, but my book shows you more details. Honestly, if you ask my opinion, I’m certainly biased

This is what I suggest: go get it, it’s a measly $9. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, you get your money back. I stand 100% behind my stuff.

I won’t ask “why”, “what if I offer you another product”. I hate those old-school marketing tricks as much as you do. You’re not happy, contact me here:
http://cpa-coaching.com/make-money-online/contact

and you get your refunds in 24 hours. As simple as that.

.
Main Street Marketing 03.16.09 at 5:55 pm

Steven,

On a slightly different note, I was curious what plugin/script you’re using to manage your membership in Wordpress on the site here. I just changed my notifications via the script and was impressed that it worked as fast and as cleanly as it did.

.
Jodi 03.16.09 at 5:55 pm

Thanks, got it..

Getting ready to begin!! Exciting Stuff..

.
Joe Timus 03.16.09 at 6:58 pm

Hey Steven,

Thanks for the info!

When I did this in the past my biggest problem was the website…. My WS with google adwords was not very good so the clicks cost more. Will you be showing us how you recommend building the landing pages?

Thanks a lot!

Joe T

.
Steven 03.17.09 at 7:36 am

Joe:
You can build HTML pages for your poll pages. I don’t use blog pages for my poll landing pages because blog pages have too many links.

The more links you have on your poll pages, the more traffic leakage you’ll have. Minimize traffic leakage, use clean HTML pages for my poll landing page.

As I’m doing it in bigger scale, I use “Landing Page Generator” from PPC Coach to build landing page for me. As I’ve explained, this script build a poll landing page for me in minutes. More information on my tools in Lesson 6.

.
Bronkim 03.17.09 at 1:09 pm

Hi Steven,

Many thanks for sharing your knowledge with us it is greatly appreciated.

Bronkim

.
Courtney Bryant 03.17.09 at 8:36 pm

Hi Steven I just read the report and you might have answered this question but I am in such information overload. After I set up my website (in the process now) how to get the polls on my website. Does the PPC coach put insert them into my website or do I write the polls myself. Thanks so much for this free report. This is the best thing I have come across yet. Courtney

.
Steven 03.18.09 at 1:51 am

Courtney:
It’s just like building a normal HTML landing page.

Place all text on your landing page, send punters to your email submit page once they click at the option links. (those YES/NO option links right above Obama pictures - refer to Lesson 2). Those option links is your CPA affiliate links.

You can either build your page by hand or use script to do it.
Did I answered your question? Let me know if you still need help.

.
Jodi 03.18.09 at 7:40 am

Hi Steven,

A little off track here, but can you recommend a similar tool to keyword elite (It’s pricy!!)? Do you have any experience with Micro Niche Finder? Or any others..

Regards,

Jodi

.
Nick 03.18.09 at 8:07 am

Steven
Thank you for the great system and coaching.

You keep referring to “punters”. I’ve never heard that term used what does it mean?

Nick

.
Steven 03.18.09 at 8:43 am

Jodi:Yes, it’s pricy. I didn’t use it when I was first started. I bought it when I made money from polls. I suggest you use Google Keyword Tool, it’s free.

Nick:
I’m sorry, it means “people who take your polls”. Someone started using the term “punters” in PPC Coach and all of the sudden everyone use it in the membership. I’m so used to it and use it here. Probably I shouldn’t use it here. Sorry for the confusion

.
Jodi 03.18.09 at 2:43 pm

Hi,

Just received this mail back from a CPA Network that I applied to…

“Please log in to your Google, Yahoo, or MSN PPC account and copy and paste a conversion tracking pixel into a reply email”

Never ad this with Neverblue, MaxBounty Etc.. What do I do??

Thanks!

.
Steven 03.18.09 at 2:56 pm

This is what you can do, log in to Google Adwords:

Campaign Management > Conversion Tracking > Sales Confirmation > View Action Code

Copy the code.

.
Jodi 03.18.09 at 4:13 pm

Thanks, done..

I am a bit concerned about these networks. I caught one out when they did not pay me for a lead!

Do you experience this. It is worrying, when we want to spend cash promoting etc and now have to think about not getting paid for all leads… Hmmmm!

.
Steven 03.19.09 at 2:28 am

Which Network? and which offer?

.
Jason 03.19.09 at 2:39 am

Hi guys,
Jason here.. Im 24 and I work at a Turkey farm (not for long) well here we go.
Ok… so you guys are trying to get in to poll method? Well, it won’t be easy but I can boost your confidence. I’ve been at it for a week now.. and YES I have been in profit every day for a week… I made about $30 this week.. It’s not paying the bills but its a start.. My current set up is… Just ONE poll… 1 Campaign with 6 adgroups. My current cpc is .02 cents on average.. Here are stats from today.

Clicks 410
Impressions 62,570
CTR 0.66%
Avg. CPC $0.02
Avg. CPM $0.16
Total Cost $10.10
Total Leads $12.10
I built my own poll page for this poll because I wasn’t in PPC-Coach at the time.. I just joined on teusday… The info there is awesome.. Now I am using Stevens landing page to build off of.. but I have not implemented yet since im waiting for google faces to bill me… When they do I will take it a step at a time.. 3 polls a day… Im not going to tell you my strategy but I think its original and great… If I can scale this up to 100 polls I will be making 100-300 a day EASY.. I have high expectations for me by the summer.. but these are ACTUAL results from ONE poll… And this poll will last until about april or may… thats it.. this truely works and im living proof… Thank you steven again man for helping me out … i’ve asked him about 50000 questions and he has answered them to the best of his knowledge.. thanks bud… and I will be seeing you at the top…

@ Jason - I’m so glad my 5000 answers helped you
It’s great to know you’re making progress. Yes, keep rolling out polls and you’ll make it. All the best!

@ Jodi - I didn’t run those offers, so can’t really comment. Check it out with you AM though.

Ellen 03.19.09 at 4:13 pm

Steven,

I’m on a limited budget, and I’m worried about the cost of Adwords eating me up. So the question is if we get paid by the clicks do we get paid right away or do we have to wait for a time before getting paid?

Also when setting up Adword campaigns which amount has the most advantage that we should use as limits for the first 30 days?

Thanks a lot Steven,
Ellen

.
Jodi 03.19.09 at 8:21 pm

Its Me Again…

Would you give me your opinion..

I created a blog a couple of weeks ago to do with Credit Repair, had 10 articles created around my longtail keywords.. The writer will submit to the necessary directories, Ezine Articles etc.. Wat is the best way to monetise tis, in your opinion.. The blog cannot have these exact articles on it (duplicated content-I could alter them if need be)…

Just did not want to leave them on my desktop as I paid for them, and also shall I link them back to my blog, were I guess I could put some nice offer up to do with te Topic…

Thanks again, your input is greatly appreciated and respected!

.
brian 03.19.09 at 11:51 pm

Great info Steven! I have a quick question: if I want to start doing this at a beginner/part time level - how much should I be looking at spending to test a few polls. Also how many clicks/conversions would be a good checkpoint to determine if a poll is on track to being successful. Thanks again!

.
Steven 03.20.09 at 4:08 am

@ Ellen - You get paid either Net 15 or 30. Meaning, they pay you 15th or 30th next month for commission generated on this month.

I set my daily budget at $50-$100 for each campaign. In Content Network, Google doesn’t send you $50 worth of clicks in a day even if you set your daily budget to $50. Not even near…..

$50 or $100 is just to show Google you have so much for them in a day. Go ahead and try 1-2 polls and you’ll get what I mean. When I spot a winner, sometimes I drive my daily budget to $1000 (gradually)….but google still don’t send me the amount of traffic I want. I’ll be glad if they do

@ Jodi - Obviously, let’s place some credit repair related offers on your mini site to monetize the traffic. Use these spy tools to to locate any CPA offers:
http://www.affspy.com
http://www.offervault.com

@ Brian - To answer you question: as many polls as you can roll out.

You see, this is a number game, we’re trying to roll out as many poll as possible to find those that will make us money. Once we get a winner, it will keep sending us passive income for awhile. And we keep on looking for the 2nd, 3rd winners etc…

If you can’t build 5 campaigns a day, then build 1. Try to build 5 on a day off from your “real job.” You don’t have to build polls for the rest of your life. You just need to find 5 winners, each of them making you $20 and it’s $100/day income. Since you know it’s a number game, you’ll be smart to use tools to automate stuff.

.
Jodi 03.20.09 at 10:07 am

Thanks for your advice..

Wen Im uploading Landing Pgae Generator, the Zip file from PPC Coach site has different files to te ones you show in the PDF Guide?? Why is that?

.
Steven 03.20.09 at 12:23 pm

I’ve modified it so that it’s easier to use. You can use the original version, it’s up to you. My nick in PPC Coach is SteveL, pm me PPC Coach related questions there.

.
p3durungan 03.20.09 at 5:07 pm

Thanks for coaching us freely Steven. Is it true CPA network will call after we send our application?

.
Marko Manninen 03.20.09 at 5:16 pm

I can confirm, that some of them will call you back. I got some calls today. Generally speaking they just ask the same questions, that were on application you left. RocketROI declined my application after the call. I could call them back, because some say, that in 90% of cases it helps to get back into their business. But on the other hand, there are so many networks available, that some of them will accept you anyway.

.
tonyrocks 03.21.09 at 1:53 am

Brilliant…Polls. I never thought to do that. Seriously man, very cool indeed. I’ve been using email submitters for a bit but never really clicked for me. you rock man

.
Burano 03.21.09 at 3:10 am

Hey cool idea…but would any of these networks see this as incentivizing? That’s usually in the terms for email submits - that they don’t want incentivized traffic. Seems to me that entering their email for a free gift is just that…

Am I mistaken?

.
DC 03.21.09 at 4:59 am

Great info. Thanks for the direction!

.
Steven 03.21.09 at 10:28 am

@ Burano - I don’t use incentivized email submit offers. There are tons of non-incentivized email submit offers around.

.
Ethan 03.21.09 at 11:32 pm

Hey Steve,

Sorry if you already said this somewhere, but theres a lot of posts to go through - Do you know of a free landing page generator or something like it? Thanks

.
Steven 03.22.09 at 3:24 am

@ Ethan - I don’t know one that’s free.

.
Jodi 03.22.09 at 6:45 pm

HI there,

Sent u a PM on CPA Coach on Fri, did not hear back from you..

Hope all is well,

Regards

.
Steven 03.23.09 at 2:49 am

Jodi, I’ve replied you. It seems either you missed the pm or the message was not sent out. Never mind, contact me here and tell me what can I do for you. Sorry, I can’t recall your questions in the pm. I receive a truck load of them

.
ethan 03.23.09 at 3:13 am

Hey again Steve,

I got approved with Ads4Dough, and all there e-mail submit offers are “Non-Incentivized” so does that mean I cannot say “get a chance at a $1000 gas card for voting” on my landing page? Would appreciate if you can clarify that for me.

Also, do I have to actually set up a REAL poll or is it just answers that will link to the email submit offer, and they aren’t going to see any poll results?

Thanks

.
nhia 03.23.09 at 3:13 am

Thanks Steve for providing your free coaching. Not much people gives up their time doing this especially for free. Looking forward to learning here…

.
Steven 03.23.09 at 3:25 am

@ Ethan - I use “Non-Incentivized” offers. Go ahead with them.

No need to set up a REAL poll. Once your visitors click on the option links, send them direct to merchant. As we’ve place a prize and instruction on our poll page, they’ll know what to do net.

You don’t have to redirect to another “poll result page” or “thank you page”. Anything in between with immediately lower LP CTR.

.
Frank 03.23.09 at 4:43 am

Hi Steven,

Thanks - great stuff - you said that you offered your visitor a free gift - what type of gifts do you mean - In general.

Thanks for offering this coaching!
Frank

.
Steven 03.23.09 at 6:12 am

@ Frank - I’ve great success with gift cards. Any gift cards: Walmart, McDonalds, Subway, gas card etc. Gadgets like iPhone, ipod, Dell laptop works well for me too.

.
jake 03.23.09 at 7:36 am

hey steve,

first of all thank you for putting such great information up. I have a quick question. Today the fedex airplane crashed. Lets just pretend it was an american airlines plane for sake of example. When you look up american airlines plane crash there are NO ads for it. But many people would be looking for it because there was just a plan crash. So what if you were to put up an ad that said something along the lines of

“another american airlines crash!? would you fly? free gift card for your input”

thats just an example. But clicks would be only like 5 cents cause there is NOBODY advertising for that.

then you redirect them to a free travel gift certificate email submit or something. am i thinking along the right lines or am i missing something here.

thanks man!

jake

.
Steven 03.23.09 at 8:33 am

@ jake - You’re almost there

The traffic funnel is:

Google ad > landing page > email submit page.

Drive traffic from ad to your landing page. Set up a poll on landing page. Send visitors from your option links (Yes/No button) to email submit page to complete the cycle.

.
steve 03.23.09 at 1:44 pm

Hi Steven,

Thanks for the answer on the poll and I do understand. It is just on some of my sites I want to get repeat traffic. So I thought by showing them the results of that poll also will add to that return value. I just wanted to see if there were other ways that people were doing things that were different to me.

.
Frank 03.23.09 at 10:59 pm

Hi Steven,
I just got approval from never-blue.com.
I’m super excited - but don’t really know what type of offers to go after and promote I’ll be looking for your suggestions from the course - I just found your coaching yesterday. I’ll be going through all of your training a couple of times tonight.
If you suggest anything that might help point me in the right direction PLEASE let me know! I know there is no “super fast track” - but my main source of income is faltering - and devoting time is not an issue.
I have developed a lot of skills over the past 6 mos.
Can do landing pages - full blown sites - seo (on some level) have been doing ppc - with moderate results. (Mostly driving new clients to my Brick and Mortar comapny) ppc offers have had little results.
So, I am still doing all the rest and am looking to add CPA to the mix.
Thanks for your course - I’ll be devouring it NOW!

.
jake 03.24.09 at 4:58 am

quick question steven, i am starting my campaigns using your method. Two questions. what does your 9 report cover? I am going to buy it regardless i just wanted to clarify.

Also, i am going to be promoting email submits like you say but all the email submits at my network say NO incentivised. Is the poll method “technically” considered incentivised?

I know you still do it but i was just wondering what it is considered? I wouldn’t think that a poll could be considered incentivised but i was wondering your opinion? thanks

.
Burano 03.25.09 at 1:47 am

I noticed the same question Jake asked a couple of times here…I asked too, but he just said he wasn’t using incentivized offers.

I’m not sure if he’s skirting around the question for a reason. I’d appreciate it if you could clarify this for us Steven…would the networks view this in some cases as incentivized?

.
jake 03.25.09 at 1:50 am

hey bruno,

I think he was straight up saying even if it says DO NOT INCENTIVIZE he still does it anyways.

Anyways, i tried to get some clarification and a lot of people said the poll method is not incentivised. And actually that makes sense cause we arent giving them anything in return for filling out the offer. In fact its the opposite they get a free gift (email submit offer) for answering our poll.

But yeah i would still like to know what steven says. good luck man!

.
Steven 03.25.09 at 10:34 am

@ jake - I’ve shown you my book content in Lesson 7.

I go into each topic with more details. For example, I show you a case study where I ran a poll on Rush Limbaugh. I explain why it’s a great idea running polls on people like him. Also, I go into details on setting up an Adwords account. Grab a copy if you feel like it. Like I said earlier, ask me for a refund if you’re unhappy with the content.

I use non-incentivised offers. You’re right, incentivised offers means you’re offering an incentive (gift etc.) in return for filling out an offer. With poll method, we don’t send out any gift. So, it’s good to use non-incentivised offers. Most email submits are non-incentivised.

ok awesome thank steven. I am purchasing your book now and just to clarify for everyone else. Cause you still said it kinda confusing. The poll method would be considered NOT INCENTIVISED. So you wont get in trouble promoting offers that do not allow incentives. Cool!

.
jake 03.25.09 at 8:37 pm

hey steven your methods work. Ive gotten approved to hydra, ads4dough, azoogle and one other i forgot. I didnt even use the professional looking website. Mine actually looks kinda crappy. Im sure they knew i had experience as an affiliate because of the way i talked but it was way easier than i thought.

Steven 03.26.09 at 2:37 am

@ jake - That’s right : “The poll method would be considered NOT INCENTIVISED. So you wont get in trouble promoting offers that do not allow incentives.”

.
Steven 03.29.09 at 2:02 pm

@ Ali - I don’t get you. Can you please explain? Network pays affiliates through paypal though.

.
Steven 03.29.09 at 2:32 pm

CPA networks pay by wire transfer too, but you need to bear the bank fees.

.
ALi 03.29.09 at 2:48 pm

does it support Jordan , its in middle east ?
they don’t support nothing for people who live there

.
Steven 03.29.09 at 3:00 pm

Since I’m not from Middle East, I’m not sure. Why don’t you send them an email and find out?

.
jake hyten 03.30.09 at 9:57 pm

hello steven. I got your 9 report and relly enjoyed it. I felt like i actually had a clear plan of action. Ive been reading about cpa for almost a month and have been so confused i havent even done anything yet. But after reading your report i feel like i know exactly what to do and i can at least get out there and test everything and get rollin. I will be going through the lessons in ppc coach tonight but i had a quick question.

What kind of budget should we start with for learning polls? 100 200 300 more? I want to do it right and want to makes ure i have enough money to test properly. What do you suggest? Can you give a range also? Like no more than how much and no less than how much?

Thanks for everything

.
Ellen 03.30.09 at 11:11 pm

Steven,

I have been on the internet, like Yahoo Index, looking up hot topics and new items, and then go to Google to see if I can find any polls out there.

So far I haven’t been finding any polls that come up. Shouldn’t I be able to pull up polls just by looking up names of people connected to a current hot item?

If not how does people stumble on these polls and end up putting their email on these things, I tried to find them and I can’t even see any. Any thoughts on that?

Thanks for any infor will help,
Ellen

.
Steven 03.31.09 at 3:29 pm

@ Jake - On my first month, I spent less than $100 on Google ads. That was basically my start up capital (other than my monthly subscription fees to PPC-Coach membership). But I can’t guarantee the same results to everyone. Yes, $200-$300 is good budget to start with. There is one secret why I spent very little money with Google: I monitor my campaign closely. When I start a campaign, I pay close attention. I’ll just sit in front of my PC and check my stats. Also, I spent a lot of hard work to analyze every details (ad copy, landing page, offer, poll idea etc.)

Some times it’s not the budget that decides. It’s how much hard work you spend in the business. Trust me, when you run enough polls, you’ll “click” one day.

@ Ellen - When you’re using Google (or Yahoo), the search results only shows what Google “think” you’re looking for. Say you punch in “Obama” into Google search box, you’ll see a bunch of Obama related pages. Not the Adsense ads with our ads on it.

Even if you search for “Obama polls”, you’ll find a bunch of Obama poll-numbers-web-pages published by various newspaper/electronic media. Our ads only appear in Google Adsense. Google places those ads in different websites related to our adgroups theme, so it’s not easy to locate them.

.
jake hyten 04.03.09 at 11:19 pm

steven, is there a reason you dont run polls on the search network? What if you could get clicks for 5 cents?

.
Steven 04.04.09 at 2:29 pm

Jake, it’s hard for poll landing page (thin content page) to battle with Google QS in Search Network. Also, low CTR will quickly push your CPC high in Search Network. It’s a different beast to tame

Hi, courteous posts there express’s for the gripping information

.
Ethan 05.26.09 at 3:27 am

Steve, please tell me how to run ads ONLY on the content network, it seems no matter what I try to do, I have to have search enabled to be able to make any keywords active. What am I doing wrong? I’ve turned search off, then it tells me it has to be on. I’ve lowered search bids to really low, while keeping bids for content network at 20 cents, still doesn’t run. Please advise.

Thanks,
Ethan

.
Steven 05.28.09 at 11:44 am

You dont’t have to turn Search on. I always turn off Search when I run ads in Content Network. Not sure what goes wrong….

.
omar 05.28.09 at 9:12 pm

Wendy Guillen 07.17.09 at 12:01 am

Hi,
Thank you very much, I follow your book step by step and I just got approval from Copeac.
But, I have a problem… I don t know how to redirect my affliate link.
In my affliate area, I just have banners from the advertisers and generic links, then, from my poll landing page How can I redirect those links?
I also want to drive traffic direct to the offers from adwords. I do not understand.

Thanks,

Wendy

.
Steven 07.17.09 at 3:16 am

Wendy, it’s not hard. This is what you can do: Grab a banner link, (that’s your affiliate link) place it behind your option links.

Once either of the option links get clicked, the visitors will get redirect to the email submit offer page.

Get it?
