Exactly 3 year ago NeoBux went live in its pre-launch phase.
Born of a vision where everyone could earn and be happy about it, we had our share of issues due to all the changes in mentality we were offering.
Our birth was surrounded in controversial by those who couldn't see beyond the horizon and also for those who were feeling threatened by a true legitimate business. Too bad, we were here to stay.
Not only the vision was somehow ambitious but it was also very strong and bulletproof. The idea was also to prove that PTC wasn't an industry of thieves as it was until we dropped by but an industry that could grow into one of the most successful and truthful in the Internet.
Our model was available to everyone that wanted to join us in our business and I've personally did my share in helping others individually.
The problem was that I thought that others were like me and I couldn't be more wrong. In the past 3 years, all copied our body but not our soul. Moved by greed they made copies up to half-perfect but all failed by using methods that simply lead to a rotten degradation of everything. History proven that I've created a monster that, although it was working flawlessly here, it was being misused everywhere else. People began opening similar sites but forgot about the "PTC" part that is what drives us fully. They took a perfect idea and turned it into something illegal by using bots, not paying users, not paying taxes in their countries, etc. The list goes on and on as you know and, until this day, no one took my vision except for evil deeds.
The perfect vision turned into a monster which was turning this industry into an underground scheme of lies and deceits. It's like if you created a great car in every perspective and you had thousands of other manufactures creating cheap and flawed copies. Although many knew your car is perfect, the others were simply making it look bad.
Now it is time to destroy that monster and move on to a new era were a new and even more ambitious vision is being born.
The model we created will now become deprecated and obsolete as it will be replaced with something that will make the PTC industry once again to revive its glory.
Since it was us that moved PTC into the second generation, once again it's our duty to move it to the third generation.
This new generation of PTC will work in a very simple model: "More simplicity with more earnings for everyone".
We're turning the table and changing something that, although was perfect, required some financial effort from users to start their journey. Not anymore!
With this new model, what people usually call "investment" will be less and less required until it is no longer. This is something that the evil people in this industry won't be interested in joining because all they care about is taking money and not giving it. So, that's another advantage right there: Less illegal copies circulating which will lead to a cleaner environment.
Even after reading all of this, some may still be wondering why we'll be giving money away now. It's very simple. Looking back almost 2 weeks ago, where the first and required step of the process was implemented, and recalling the chaos created by those who fear changes even though proven successful, I will take it easy this time.
All the needed changes were to be ready until month's end and would turn NeoBux into the most perfect place to be BUT I won't take the risk, even though I'm perfectly sure everyone would love it, to make these radical changes all at once. I understand that some need time to digest changes and evolve with them. I understand and accept it. It's even better to have a surprise every now and then than to risk some having a heart attack for looking at something wonderful that was appeared overnight.
So, let me introduce you the first wave of changes:
Simplified pricing for rented referrals
Our new model defines that the base rental price for rented referrals is exactly the same for every membership.
Before these changes, standard members were paying extra for their referrals but now all prices are the same for all. This is a fixed 10% discount for standard members without affecting any other member. These fixed prices for all also include renewals and AutoPay fees.
Due to the incredible low price that is now being introduced, the rented referrals' limit for the standard membership may have to be adjusted. Right now, as no irregular increase is foreseen, it will remain the same and we'll keep monitoring availability. If it changes it will be announced.
NeoPoints
We're introducing a simple but powerful new feature: NeoPoints.
NeoPoints will be every user's bonus purchase balance to help them increase their profits without spending any money of their own.
The way NeoPoints work couldn't be any simpler: You'll receive NeoPoints for many tasks that you do nowadays for free. They won't be free anymore as you'll be rewarded.
Currently we'll start offering one NeoPoint for each advertisement seen regardless of the exposure type. In the near future, we'll be introducing other tasks that will earn you NeoPoints. Don't worry as these tasks won't be nothing new (unless some new feature also offers you NeoPoints) but something you do every day.
You'll be able to convert your NeoPoints to purchase any of our services without paying anything extra. For example, if you have 1000 NeoPoints you can add $1 to your Rental Balance for free (conversion rate still to be decided, this is just an example). You'll soon have the chance to redeem your points in exchange for any service but until that's ready you can start collecting them by viewing advertisements.

Commissions from direct referrals
3 years ago we introduced what was one of the most profitable earning systems ever: Commissions from direct referrals' purchases.
Many of you remember it and I can see that smile on your face.
Guess what? They're back!
Not only back but available for all members regardless of their membership.
Right now we'll be offering 1% of all of your referrals' purchase using any of the payment processors (based on the rules explained below). Before we had 10% for the first Golden members now we have 1% for all members. The best thing is that, since we have a monetary amount of sales 53 times higher than we had before, imagine the previous 10% commission multiplied by 5.3.
Rules for receiving a commission from a direct referral:
The purchase has to be made using any of our 3 payment processors.
The purchase has to be made in an amount of $10 or higher.
It will be available for purchases of any kind of service except for advertisement services.
The commission will be credited to your main balance 90 days after the purchase.
A commission will be canceled if the respective purchase is reversed for any reason and restored if the reversed purchase is also restored.
A commission won't be credited after the 90 days if the user that made the purchase is not your referral anymore or has his/her account suspended.
A commission won't be processed if the purchased service is under a promotional period or with a temporary discount.
These are simple rules and required ones. For example, due to a required fraud prevention measure, it cannot be credited before the 90 days period and, no purchases under $10 will grant commissions due to the high fees we pay for those micro purchases.
Other than that, if one of your direct referrals make a purchase, you'll have a 1% commission from that purchase credited to your main balance (yes, you can do whatever you want with it) 90 days after. For example, if one of your direct referrals makes a $500 purchase you'll receive $5.
The amount of commissions you receive daily is unlimited and the number of referrals that give you those commissions as well. There is absolutely no limit to the amount you can receive.
As always we respect our users' privacy which means that we won't tell you which of your referrals made which purchase.
According to our study, users that have direct referrals would earn from 1.8 to 2.1 times more with 1% of their referrals' purchases than from their advertisement visualizations. This means that we've managed to surpass everyone's direct referral click commission earnings and combined both earnings without you having to do absolutely a thing. This is an incredible new way to earn even more from your direct referrals. And this is only the beginning.
Since we're currently in a festive promotional period for all creditable purchase types, the direct referrals' purchase commissions will begin to work when all current discounts end (March 28th at 16:00 (server's time)). All purchases made from your direct referrals after that time, based on the rules explained above, will grant you a 1% commission from the purchase amount.
Fixed Advertisements for advertisers
We've finally launched the fixed advertisements to our advertisers.
After struggling to get the best price for them we've finally made them available. They will work as Micro Exposure advertisements for everyone. Due to price differences, we've given the advertisers the option to show their fixed advertisement to Standard members only or to all members. This way our Standard members will have an increased profit and advertisers can target upgraded members as well if they want/need to.
To give our advertisers the best possible price we had to make sure that these types of advertisements didn't include any referral commission or else the pricing would be 11 times higher which would make it a non usable service. In any case we're giving away, for free, referral commissions to all Fixed Advertisements whose period of exposure is at least 90 consecutive days. This will be totally financed by us and not the advertiser.
To separate these advertisements from our Fixed ones, they'll show up with a purple color before our orange ones.
The number of daily fixed advertisements can vary depending on the purchased packs. The minimum period is 24 hours.

Since this is still the beginning, don't expect much Fixed Advertisements yet. The number will change with time.

Actually there's a whole lot more to be gradually introduced. Although the original idea was to implement the changes in two periods (the one on the 13th and one until the end of this month), I don't want to cause another chaos due to some users' misconception. The features implemented today, although not the best of whole change that will occur, are the ones that needed to be done first now that the implementation has been distributed in more phases.
Instead of a global instant change you'll benefit from the new model one feature at a time until we can finally conclude all changes.
I know that the vision of having what we had transformed into something were users not only earn more but also will have to spend less to accomplish higher goals is truly an ambitious one.
